20 Years On, VIBGYOR Launches TWO New Schools In Maharashtra
This year marks the 20th anniversary of VIBGYOR Group of Schools, India's top K12 education network. Marking this historic milestone, the Group recently announced the opening of two new schools: VIBGYOR World Academy in Nagpur and VIBGYOR High in Belapur.
India's K12 education system has developed tremendously and VIBGYOR Founder Chairman Rustom Kerawalla has been at the forefront of this transformation. The two new VIBGYOR schools in Belapur and Nagpur stand testament.
Speaking on this development, Rustom Kerawalla, Founder Chairman of Ampersand Group and VIBGYOR Group of Schools, said, “The launch of our new school in Belapur marks a significant milestone for VIBGYOR. This institution is not just an addition to our schools, but also a continuation of our 20-year legacy of providing quality education. This development broadens our footprint in India and enhances our robust network across Maharashtra.”
At the inauguration of VIBGYOR High, Belapur, Vice-Chairperson Kavita Kerawalla reiterated the group’s vision of holistic and quality education. “The new campus is designed to offer a truly transformative learning experience. We’re particularly excited about introducing our innovative STEM programmes and leadership initiatives. This aligns with our vision of not just building schools, but fostering entire ecosystems of growth and learning,” she said. VIBGYOR High, Belapur, is the third campus in Navi Mumbai and 8th in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
As for the VIBGYOR World Academy, Nagpur, it is the first-ever dedicated Cambridge school from the VIBGYOR Group. The school’s inauguration was a significant event as Union Minister Nitin Gadkari graced the occasion and officially inaugurated the school, located in New Ramdaspeth, Nagpur while members of Purva Vidarbha Mahila Parishad lighted the ceremonial lamp.
Speaking passionately about the transformative power of education, Shri Gadkari remarked "We need to develop knowledge as a power. We must update technology on a regular basis, regardless of the industry. A nation's development depends on its skilled labour force.”
VIBGYOR is committed to fostering an active learning environment where development and progress are prioritized. Commenting on the launch of these two new schools, Rustom Kerawalla pointed out that a school’s impact goes beyond the classroom. “With every new campus we establish, we are not just setting new standards; we are creating spaces that offer state-of-the-art infrastructure and enriching extracurricular opportunities. Our commitment is to nurture our students’ intellectual, social, and emotional well-being, equipping them with the confidence to excel in the world beyond the classroom,” he said.
VIBGYOR’s journey began in 2004 when the first VIBGYOR school opened its doors in Goregaon, Mumbai, marking the beginning of the quest for educational excellence. Today, with 39 schools spread across 15 major cities, the VIBGYOR Group of Schools currently serves more than 50,000 students throughout India.
In 2024, VIBGYOR looks to further solidify its status as a top provider of K12 education with the launch of these two new schools at Belapur and Nagpur. Both schools, VIBGYOR World Academy, Nagpur, and VIBGYOR High, Belapur, are now accepting inquiries for new admissions.
